Our confession schedule has changed, effective
January 1, 2021. Our new confession schedule is as follows:
* Holy Mother Church in Her liturgical tradition has ascribed to different days of the week particular focal points for reflection. Wednesdays are ascribed to St. Joseph. To honor St. Joseph in this year dedicated to him, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed at 8:00am on Wednesdays and confessions will be heard until Benediction at 8:45am, followed by final blessing before the 9:00am Mass. During adoration, devotions will be prayed, along with time for silent prayer. We will still pray the Our Mother of Perpetual Help devotion (Tuesday) and Divine Mercy Chaplet (Friday) after the 9:00am Mass.

After carefully consideration, Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron is extending the dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation until Ash Wednesday, February 17, 2021 for people living in or visiting the Archdiocese of Detroit. As we have from the beginning, we will continue to closely monitor the situation in our region, with an eye on the day – hopefully in the not-to-distant future – when all of us are able to safely reunite in our normal patterns of worship. Whether or not they are able to attend Mass, all baptized Catholics are reminded of the grave necessity they have to keep holy the Lord’s Day.
